I am writing this brief letter to spread the news about an educational program that I feel is of great benefit to the hemophilia community. My name is Rita Dull, and I have a son who has Type A hemophilia. In mid-April 2007 I was fortunate enough to be introduced to MUMS (Mothers United Mission for Sons). I met Bert Brown, who presented this introduction as well as her story of raising sons with hemophilia. MUMSTM is an opportunity for the mothers of boys with hemophilia to access educational sessions on an ongoing basis. It is a program that lets us know we are not out here alone.
I thank Bert for being there for Moms and sharing her time and experiences. I would recommend this opportunity for the education of Moms everywhere. Keep up the good work, Bert, and I hope to see you soon.
