Janet Brewer's Bio
Janet Brewer received her Masters Degree in Education from Simmons College in 2004. For twenty years, she worked in the public
school arena teaching and advocating for children with unique learning needs. As a special education teacher and reading specialist,
she has written hundreds of IEP and 504 plans. She is the proud parent of three children, Christopher (19), Stephen (16), and Mikayla
(12), all affected by hemophilia, and has vast personal experience and knowledge of living with this disorder.
Over the years, Janet has served as the Alternate Director for Region I for the National Hemophilia Foundation, as well as volunteered with her local chapter, New England Hemophilia Association.
Currently, Janet is the Associate Director of Program Development for FactorHealth, where she develops and presents educational programs for members of the hemophilia community.
